My name is Leslie. You can read more about me on my About Page I'm a planning bride, with 65 days left to go. The real count down starts in 2 days... Eeeek!

Not scared, more nervous and hoping that everything works out the way I expect. Most brides I have spoken to or women that I know who planned their weddings were total basket cases!! I even know some one that shall remain nameless that were borderline "Bridezillas" (No joke)… I am not the most girliest of women, so I assumed that I would be horrible at this wedding planning. For years I said I would leave it to my best friend and sister who are beyond girlie and both claimed that they wanted to plan my wedding... Guess what? Neither of them helped throughout the process at ALL! Sister is now living in a different state and best friend well lets say he is threading on thin ice. No big deal, this allowed me to find a whole new way to express myself and I found the challenge of planning a wedding on a budget fun. 

I have been engaged since May 2011 and have not had a moment of stress. I’m a full time student and I had more stress from my finals than from the wedding planning. We are still within budget and our wedding is going to be GORGEOUS and unique. Most important I learned to save, in so many ways. Yes I’m a coupon chic now, no shame in it. I save us serious $$$ every month! I cant believe I was not doing this sooner. Its never too late!! Plus I have decided to embrace my love for art and continue to evolve as an artist. Lets see where that takes me.
