Creative Thank You Notes

Proper etiquette says that I have up to one year to send out Thank You Notes to our wedding guests. Its official because it was on The Nate Berkus show! I believe that is true because there is no way to have those thank you notes out right after the wedding. After our wedding we were so exhausted, cleaning our house after all the parties that happened here, and house guests we had. That we didn't get to opening our gifts until the following weekend. Making the list of who gave us what, and the ooohhs and aaahhs like Christmas just for the Hubby and me!

Don't forget during all this I am still in school, and planning our honeymoon. We wanted to keep with our wedding theme, and make the thank you notes be just as personal as everything on our big day. My original plan was to make the Thank You notes into picture cards. I love making personalized cards for all occasions. Only problem was that I didn't have my wedding pictures back from the photographers. That's another reason why us Brides have up to one year.Then the photographers called to let me know our Bridal Portraits, (that we took after the wedding) were ready for me to pick up. I loved them! So I was going to just print several of our favorites and include them in a thank you note.. Still I wasn't thrilled with the idea.

Then I get an email, about Ink Garden, with a great deal on business magnets. You know the wheels on my head started churning, and I knew I had my own pretty creative way to do my Thank You Notes!

1) I went to Ink Garden and signed up.

2) I loaded some of my favorite Bridal Portrait pictures, into my Ink Garden account.


3) Organized pictures, used text, and played with all the little add ons they have.    

4) Approved it & then add it to my cart, used

5) You do pay for shipping, and FINISHED, that was so easy!


Look at my adorable Thank You Wedding Magnets! I didn't spend an arm an a leg for something very creative and very much US. Now all our close friends and family who bought us such amazing wedding gifts have yet another memory from our loving wedding day.
